OBJECTIVES

• Overview of basic anatomy.
• Outline patient consent, confidentiality and safety.
• Outline entry into Medical School
• Practically demonstrate blood glucose, blood pressure, pulse oximetry and glasgow coma scale testing.
• Overview of phlebotomy including theoretical knowledge and practical demonstration through use of clinical skills manikin arm.
• Demonstrate CPR/AED.
• Demonstrate basic surgical skills on laparoscopic skills stations.
