This training course is for all staff who provide health or personal care, in any context, for adults who are considered to be at risk of harm. It includes all types of abuse, including neglect and is based on the premise that adults at risk of harm cannot always protect themselves.

Course content:

• Understand the nature and forms of abuse
• Understand the professional responsibilities of staff
• To recognise and act appropriately to safeguard adults at risk of harm.
