Continuing Professional Development for Dentists and Dental Care Professionals. Continuing Professional Development is a lifelong process by which dentists and dental care professionals learn and develop to meet their personal and professional needs, and the needs of patients.  The fundamental aim is to ensure that individuals continue to expand and improve their clinical knowledge, skills and attitudes, and ultimately to help improve the health and wellbeing of patients. At Kingsbridge Training Academy, we believe it is our responsibility to provide training courses which meet the specific learning outcomes required to maintain GDC registration, and which highlight the importance of working as a team.  Members of the dental team can enhance their Personal Development Portfolios by selecting from our full and flexible spectrum of courses, which can be tailored to meet their particular needs and specialist interests. In addition to mainstream clinical dental training, our faculty also encompasses the many disciplines which include and support dentistry:
  • Maxillo Facial & Oral Surgery
  • Plastic Surgery
  • Oral Hygienists
  • Nursing
  • Head & Neck Surgery.
Most courses are delivered via an innovative, blended learning approach to teaching and include classroom-based learning, online pre course study materials and self-directed study. All short courses are awarded CPD credits on completion.
