Health professionals undertaking skin surgery need to be safe, confident and up-to-date with techniques and guidelines. This course includes lectures and expert led practical sessions consolidating new and existing minor surgery skills.
Course content:
- Local anaesthesia
- Surgical techniques
- Management of lipomata, cysts, skin lesions and in-growing toenails
- Suturing techniques and wound healing
- Live video demonstrations
- Practical workshops – skin pads, pig skin and trotters.
