Early Years

This course is aimed at practitioners who are or will be Designated Child Protection Officers or Deputy Designated Child Protection Officers. Good practice would suggest that the Designated Child Protection Officer should be an experienced member of staff. Upon completion of this course the candidate will be knowledgeable in their role and responsibilities when working as a Designated Child Protection Officer. The course will meet current legislative requirements.

This course aims to provide an overview of how to develop the strategy, operations and oversight for an organisation in relation to adults at risk of harm.

This course is designed to give it's participants the confidence to deal with the collapse of a child or infant in the home or in a public place.

The 12 hour Paediatric First Aid course is suitable for teachers, child-minders, parents and nursery school assistants and is delivered in line with the Early Years Foundation stage statutory framework.

Upon completion of this course, the delegate will gain knowledge of their role and responsibilities as a childcare worker within the child protection framework.
