To provide the basic principles of, and application of, obstetric ultrasound including the diagnosis and management of antenatal fetal ultrasound.

- Discuss early pregnancy
- Discuss second and third trimester
- Discuss multiple pregnancy
- Discuss anomaly scans
- Outline the basic of clinical genetics
- Demonstrate the use of scanning in practical procedures and screening
- Outline the communication of results and breaking bad news
- Discuss the placenta, biophysical assessment and dopplers
Please note, interactive practical sessions and case-based discussions will be used to review common dilemmas, rare conditions and advanced ultrasound techniques.
