This highly practical course provides skills training for taking venous blood samples from the arm and is delivered by highly experienced and qualified health professionals who have been involved in Phlebotomy for many years. We provide a logbook so each delegate can gain further full competence under clinical supervision (the recommended amount is 20 hours, but this is entirely up to the individual). Please note that each delegate is responsible for sourcing their own clinical setting for supervision.

This course is suitable for GPs, GP trainees, hospital doctors and allied health professionals.

This course is delivered by consultants and experienced surgeons, that will provide tuition and supervision throughout. Our highly practical course is delivered using both hands-on practical workshops and demonstrations by our tutors using animal tissue and will cover the basic surgical techniques that are common to all surgical procedures.
