Safeguarding is the responsibility of every member of the dental team. Each person has a part to play in recognising and responding to the signs of harm and abuse in patients, and this course will develop further awareness and understanding of the processes related to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and how they relate to the roles and responsibilities within the practice.

Lip Masterclass – Advanced Dermal Filler Training

This comprehensive one-day course focuses on lip augmentation covering a variety of topics in detail, including anatomy, various advanced techniques, and complications. Through a hands-on approach, delegates will interact with live models, carry out consultations, administer treatment, and provide after-care advice.

Suitable for: Registered Medical Doctors, Dentists, Nurses and Midwives that have completed a foundation aesthetic course. Delegates must show evidence that they have completed a qualification from any aesthetic training provider.

Sports Specific First Aid Training

Be able to provide high quality basic first aid in sporting environments to a range of incidents. Taught using lectures, simulated exercises and written and practical assessments.

Suitable for: Anyone who would like to become a first responder, including Spectators, Players, Physiotherapists, Lifeguards and Referees.

Paediatric Immediate Life Support Training (PILS)

This 1-day course is certified by the Resuscitation Council (UK) and focuses on the immediate care of the seriously ill child, and the initial resuscitation of infants and children who are in respiratory or cardio-respiratory arrest.

Suitable for: Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, ODPs, Health Visitors, School Nurses, Midwives, Cardiac Technicians, Resuscitation Officers, Physiotherapists, Dentistry Professionals, Ambulance Technicians and Medical and Nursing Students.

Immediate Life Support Training (ILS)

This course is certified by the Resuscitation Council (UK) and teaches the recognition and treatment of the deteriorating patient using the ABCDE (Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability, Exposure) approach. Immediate Life Support knowledge and skills will enable first responders to recognise and start treatment in patients at risk of deterioration and cardiac arrest.

Suitable for: Doctors, Medical Students, Nurses, Nursing Students, Midwives, and Healthcare Providers such as Dentists, Paramedics and Ambulance Technicians.

Basic Fire Safety Training

This fire safety training course will provide delegates with the necessary knowledge and understanding of fire safety legislation, and fire and evacuation procedures in order to know the appropriate action to take upon discovering a fire.

Suitable for: Anyone wishing to update their knowledge on basic fire safety.

Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)

This 1-day course provides learners with skills and knowledge to deal with first aid situations in low-risk workplace environments for the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations (NI) 1982 purposes.

Suitable for: Anyone wishing to become an emergency first aider. 

e-Learning Advanced Life Support Training (e-ALS)

This course is certified by the Resuscitation Council (UK) and comprises 1-day e-learning and 1-day face-to-face, and consists of lectures, workshops, skill stations and cardiac arrest simulations (i.e.CASTeach).

Suitable for: Doctors, Paramedics and Nurses working in acute care areas.

Level 3 Safeguarding Adult Champion Training

This safeguarding training course is for those who need to understand how to protect an adult’s right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect.

Suitable for: Those that need to uphold the welfare and wellbeing of adults at risk of harm, especially those that are vulnerable, within their workplace i.e. Healthcare, Dental, Charitable or Voluntary settings.
